November 18th is celebrated as the Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia.
On this day of celebration the red flags with the red and white outfit are publicly posted and lots of festivities are being held in Latvia
At the initiative of Cultural and educational center LatviArt and the support of the Honorary Consul in Chernihiv city Olena Vyshniakova, had happened a warm meeting in the Cultural center with the students of the school of arts of Chernihiv. Young artists have visited the exhibition of woolen and ceramic art works of Vera Shevchenko, which now exhibits in the Cultural center. After the oversight, a surprise was waiting for the kids - a sweet dinner and gifts from the Honorary Consul.
Also this day, a group of children from Chernihiv’s preschool institution № 1 didn’t remain without gifts. The children were happy and satisfied with the balloon with the inscription "I love Latvia", which were also presented by Mrs. Olena Vyshniakova in honor of the Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia
