I thank our Latvian colleagues for the invitation and real practical help to Ukrainians! Such assistance in this difficult moment is the manifestation of sincere friendship and mutual respect,” said Olena Vyshniakova.

She thanked the organizers of the trip from both sides: from the Ukrainian – the cultural and educational center LatviArt, which operates on the basis of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Chernihiv. From the Latvian side it is the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Ukraine, in particular, the Deputy Ambassador Ligita Davidova, deputy of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia, the chairman of the parliamentary group on interparliamentary relations with Ukraine Ainars Mezulis and Aurika Zivere from the Smiltene crisis center.

According to Olena Vyshniakova, this trip has become possible primarily thanks to the coordinated work of many people: “For a long time many people have been working hard for our children to have an opportunity to relax and improve their health in friendly Latvia. I want to thank the ECOLINES corporate carrier, which has carried out the transportation of Ukrainian children on holiday to Latvia. According to my own experience, if there is a goal and associates, then nothing is impossible. The reward for us is sincere smiles on children's faces and gratitude of their parents.”
